Round Twelve Tribes Pewter Mezuzah
Product Description
Here is a striking red colored pewter Mezuzah case that will bring light to any room. In the center it features the traditional holy letter shin and at the base is a representation of the Choshen the Breastplate worn by the High Priest in the Temple. There were four rows, each of which had three stones. The twelve stones corresponded to the Twelve Tribes and the Choshen served as the Divine means of communication with the Jewish People. The modern-day translation of the Hebrew names of the stones is obscure. Here the names are written in Hebrew a reminder of the beauty that will return when the Temple is rebuilt.
The Mezuzah case is made in Israel and comes with a ten year warranty. Attach it to the wall by using the double sided tape provided. Alternatively, you can use nails in the holes at the top and bottom.
Note: the size given here refers to the size of the Mezuzah scroll appropriate for this case. The case itself is usually 1 larger.
